Founded in 2020, Hartbrook Development quickly established itself as a design-focused, community-centric, full-service real estate development firm based in Auburn, Alabama.

Brandon, Andrea, Ellie (3) and Hudson (1) embrace every aspect of living in a small, yet rapidly expanding college town! They participate deeply in their community and church and also enjoy traveling to new and exciting places.
BRANDON
HAYS
Brandon serves as the founding principal at Hartbrook and oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm. His responsibilities include identifying infill development opportunities that align with Hartbrook's mission and managing the execution of each development project the firm pursues.
His passion for real estate investing and construction dates back to his high school days when he first worked for a residential home builder. Although he initially pursued a career in law, Brandon consistently sought real estate opportunities on the side. It wasn't until he and his wife, Andrea, relocated to Auburn in 2020 that Brandon committed to pursuing full-scale real estate development deals. Concurrently, he enrolled in Auburn University to obtain a Master of Real Estate Development. Equipped with this training and building on the success of a few deals, Brandon made the career transition to full-time real estate development.
Sam, Mariet, William (14) and Lanie (11) live in Germantown, TN outside of Memphis, where they love spending time with their church and missions community. And if they can get homework finished, the boys may try to head to the golf course while the girls express themselves through myriad art projects.

ROGERS
Sam is an investor with a history in finance, operations and M&A in the small business world. He struck up a relationship with Brandon after a long search for a like-minded, faith-driven entrepreneur with a real estate and land development background.
His career began when he left the University of Tennessee in 2008 to work for his grandfather's distribution business in Memphis. After 15 years in various roles and taking an opportunity to invest in the business, he was able to sell in 2021. This allowed him to found Confido Investors and start or invest in several businesses with various partners, including Dennis. Sam offers insight into finance, operating systems & processes, and finding the right people.
Dennis, Sherri, Hunter and Brandon (Haven, Jack (4) and Ward (2)) are an adventurous and fun-loving bunch primarily based in Germantown, TN outside of Memphis. Dennis & Sherri love fitness, the beach, and their church community.
DENNIS
WRIGHT
Dennis spent 40 years building a construction business from the ground up with much of his family and some of his closest friends. After selling the business, he set out to redeploy his experience by developing and supporting entrepreneurs as an investor. He is currently involved in several businesses and is ready to use his background and endless energy to help Hartbrook Development reach its full potential!
Cody Holly is from Flower Mound, Texas, and currently resides in Auburn, Alabama, with his wife, Karson. Cody and Karson enjoy traveling, going to the lake and surfing, or doing anything else outdoors with their friends and family.

Cody serves as the Director of Building at Hartbrook, overseeing all vertical construction. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science with a business minor from Texas A&M University. Cody has project management experience in both residential and commercial construction, ranging from single-family homes and townhouses to even a large semiconductor facility.
The thing he loves most about building is the opportunity to create beautiful spaces for fellowship and community. He also loves that construction is the ultimate team game and that he tangibly gets to see the work come to fruition. He is glad to be at Hartbrook, where the opportunity to add unique value to the community is possible, and a heart for "Building Beyond our Building" is evident.
